8 AI photo transformations, shown before and after
The fastest way to judge an AI photo method is to see what it kept, what it changed and where it still needs review. These eight pairs use the displayed source photograph as the image input.
The short answer
Imagild applies a reusable visual method to an uploaded photograph. A strong result keeps the source-defining people, objects and spatial relationships readable while changing the presentation. Compare both sides before using or publishing a result.
Choose a transformation by the source photo
The most reliable choice starts with what is visibly strong in the original—not with a style name alone. Use this matrix to shortlist a method, then inspect the full pair below.
| Method and outcome | Best starting photo | Check most carefully |
|---|---|---|
| 01 · Landscape to stitched fabric diptych | A landscape with a clear horizon and separated foreground, water and ridge layers. | Horizon continuity, missing landmarks and whether the stitched lower panel still follows the source. |
| 02 · Street still life to doodle story | A street still life with a small number of distinct objects and readable spacing. | Object count and placement, invented figures, and whether the added story overwhelms the source. |
| 03 · Landmark photo to integrated identity concept | A landmark or object with a distinctive silhouette and enough surrounding negative space. | Silhouette recognition, generated lettering and the fact that the result is a raster concept, not cleared vector identity. |
| 04 · Still life to impasto miniature | A still life with a clear object group, stable overlap and a simple background. | Object arrangement, edge integrity and whether paint texture adds impossible shapes or merged objects. |
| 05 · Architecture to isometric block miniature | Architecture with readable levels, strong massing and a small number of identifying details. | Level order, entrances, stairs and any impossible intersections introduced by block simplification. |
| 06 · Travel scene to Chinese expressive ink | A travel scene with a stable person, boat, building or shoreline anchor and room for blank paper. | Human pose and count, landmark geometry and whether protected blank paper remains genuinely untouched. |
| 07 · Storefront photo to observational pen and wash | A storefront or street facade with readable openings, perspective and one or two color anchors. | Door and window count, bicycle geometry, perspective and any lettering that must remain factual. |
| 08 · Interior photo to vintage travel-log page | An interior with a few distinctive objects whose relative position defines the room. | Object selection, spatial order, relative scale and all generated archive text before publication. |

A silent, captioned overview pairs each real source photo with its generated result. Pause on any frame, then use the detailed comparisons below to inspect the change.
01 / 08 Landscape to stitched fabric diptych
What stayed recognizable: The boardwalk, lake and mountain ridge stay readable while the lower scene becomes layered fabric and visible stitchwork.

Original source photo
Generated result 02 / 08 Street still life to doodle story
What stayed recognizable: The chair, table, cup, two cats and bicycle remain source anchors; spare line figures add an editorial story.

Original source photo
Generated result 03 / 08 Landmark photo to integrated identity concept
What stayed recognizable: The lighthouse, cliff and path become part of a compact wordmark concept—not a finished vector logo or legal clearance.

Original source photo
Generated result 04 / 08 Still life to impasto miniature
What stayed recognizable: The watering can, terracotta pot and flower group keep their arrangement while the lower image gains raised-looking paint texture.

Original source photo
Generated result 05 / 08 Architecture to isometric block miniature
What stayed recognizable: Roof, stairs, bicycle, curved bench and water edge are simplified into connected volumes while the scene hierarchy stays recognizable.

Original source photo
Generated result 06 / 08 Travel scene to Chinese expressive ink
What stayed recognizable: Bridge, houses, willow, boat and standing figure survive radical simplification through calligraphic brush rhythm and protected blank paper.

Original source photo
Generated result 07 / 08 Storefront photo to observational pen and wash
What stayed recognizable: Awning, openings, blue door, bicycle and wet street remain in place while photographic detail becomes broken ink line and restrained wash.

Original source photo
Generated result 08 / 08 Interior photo to vintage travel-log page
What stayed recognizable: A few source-derived objects preserve the room character while the walls and clutter fall away into ivory paper and screen-print-like color.

How these examples were checked
The Imagild product team compared every result with its displayed source image, recorded visible anchors and limitations, and avoided claims that cannot be verified from the pair. Generated lettering, factual place names, legal clearance, physical fabrication and editable production files require separate review.
Questions about these examples
Are these preset filters?
No. Each result reorganizes composition, objects or material appearance. The source photo remains the content reference, but the output is generated imagery rather than a deterministic color preset.
Will every photo produce the same result?
No. Source composition, subject clarity and the chosen Skill affect the output. These pairs show reviewed examples, not a guarantee of identical performance on every upload.
Can I use the generated text as fact?
Treat generated titles, dates, locations and labels as draft copy. Replace or verify them before publishing.
