A comma at the beginning of a Chinese poster line usually calls for a line-breaking adjustment in editable text. It does not prove that the font is missing a character. Keep the approved wording intact, and fix composition before exporting a new image. Adobe documents Asian character formatting, including controls relevant to punctuation and prohibited line breaks, in Illustrator help. The available controls depend on the editor you actually use.
Identify the real text
Open a copy of the source design. Select the affected sentence and confirm that it remains editable. If the wording is already pixels inside a generated image, changing paragraph settings cannot move that comma independently. Recreate the sentence as an editable text layer over a clean background, retaining the approved wording. Do not ask an image model to keep rewriting a name or date until it happens to look right.
Inspect the sentence for hidden returns, repeated spaces and pasted punctuation. Compare it with the approved copy in a plain text document. A forced return before a comma is different from an automatic wrap caused by a narrow frame. Remove accidental returns only after confirming that they are not intentional paragraph boundaries.
Repair a small area
Check the editor's Chinese or Asian composition options. If it offers prohibited line-start or line-end characters, apply the relevant setting to the paragraph. Then adjust the text frame width or tracking slightly and observe the entire paragraph. Keep enough space around the copy so the correction does not push the final line into a logo, QR code or photograph.
For a hypothetical family-event poster, the phrase “十月十三日,欢迎回家” may wrap just before the comma in a narrow column. Widening the column slightly or using the editor's line-breaking rule is preferable to inserting several spaces before the date. This example demonstrates a layout decision; it does not prescribe one font size for every poster.
If the editor lacks those controls, reflow the sentence into a deliberately shorter paragraph or move an intact phrase onto a new line. Avoid hard-coding a return after every few characters. That solution often breaks when a phone export, font substitution or translated version changes the width.
Approve the exported result
Read the complete exported poster at the intended viewing size. Check opening brackets, closing brackets, quotation marks, commas and full stops as well as the original problem. Have another person compare names, prices and dates against the source copy. A successful repair preserves meaning and gives punctuation a readable relationship to the words around it.
Stop the typography pass if the actual text is wrong: a misspelled name requires editorial correction, not a composition setting. Save the editable master and the approved export separately. When preparing a new background through Imagild skills, reserve enough copy space and finish exact Chinese wording in an editor that exposes real text controls.
