A text clip can exist without being visible at the current playhead position. Check its time range, covering layers, opacity and contrast before recreating the title. Rebuilding a correct object can create duplicates while leaving the underlying visibility problem untouched. Work in a copy so temporary diagnostic changes do not become part of the approved design.
Confirm the object and the moment
CapCut’s text visibility help describes hidden layers and timeline placement as possible causes. Those instructions concern CapCut. Use the current controls in your own product and version; they do not establish that Jianying exposes identical switches.
Select the intended title and inspect its start and end. Move the playhead clearly inside that interval, not exactly on a boundary. If the title belongs to a nested or compound element, open the appropriate editing level before assuming that the visible parent contains an editable text object.
Then identify what is above it in the composition. A full-frame photograph introduced later can cover a title that remains active underneath. A title can also have zero opacity, match the background color or be positioned outside the visible canvas. These are distinct observations; record which condition you actually find.
Isolate visibility with one change at a time
Create a small test at a point where the title should be present. Temporarily hide a covering layer, or change the title to a high-contrast diagnostic color. Do not alter the font, position, animation and opacity simultaneously. A narrow change reveals which condition matters.
For a proposed example, a title spans 3–6 seconds while an opaque image begins at 5 seconds. Inspect 3.5 seconds and 5.5 seconds. If the first view contains the title and the second does not, hiding only the image at 5.5 seconds tests coverage. It does not establish that the title disappeared from the timeline.
- Check that the correct text object is selected.
- Compare an internal time point with another point in its interval.
- Inspect layer order and visibility.
- Check opacity, contrast and canvas position individually.
- Restore the approved appearance after identifying the cause.
If only individual characters appear as boxes, investigate font or glyph support instead. A completely covered sentence and a sentence with missing glyphs should not be treated as the same failure.
Review intended visibility across the interval
Acceptance means the title is readable for its approved duration, appears in the correct stacking relationship and leaves no accidental duplicate beneath it. Play into and out of its interval to review any entrance or exit animation. An intentional fade should not be removed merely because one sampled boundary frame contains no lettering.
Export a short section containing the diagnostic moment and open the actual result. If the timeline is correct but the render differs, record that new symptom and investigate export behavior. Imagild Skills can supply the background artwork; text composition is completed in the external editor. Keep a brief visibility note with the source project so a later background replacement does not cover the title again.
