Choose the story's truth status before choosing costumes or superpowers. A real couple's film should use approved relationship facts. A fictional wedding can invent adult characters and events, but should not be presented as footage of a real ceremony. A reenactment sits between those choices and needs a clear explanation of what is dramatized.
Separate three kinds of project
| Project | What provides the story | What viewers should understand |
|---|---|---|
| Personal memory film | Facts supplied and approved by the couple | Generated scenes illustrate their account |
| Stylized reenactment | An agreed incident with openly invented staging | The visual setting is a creative reconstruction |
| Original wedding fantasy | Fictional characters, invented rules and plot | No real couple's biography is being claimed |
This decision changes the writing task. For a memory film, uncertainty should produce a question. For original fiction, uncertainty can produce an invention consistent with the premise. Mixing those rules silently is how an attractive script acquires a proposal that never happened or a relative the couple did not want included.
Keep recognizable people and invented roles distinct
For a fictional demonstration, use original AI adult characters rather than suggesting that a public figure or an unrelated person attended a wedding. Establish a simple appearance card: hair, outfit, one distinguishing accessory and the character's role. Describe appearance without inventing a real identity, ethnicity or private history from a face.
For a real couple, obtain their approval of the representation and use authorized reference photos. Appearance approval and story approval are separate. Someone may like a portrait while rejecting the event that the script attributes to them.
Original fiction: two adult inventors marry in a rooftop greenhouse. They are not based on a real couple. Their shared habit is repairing things together. All guests are fictional adults. Show cooperation through a small ceremony mishap; do not claim this is a recording of an actual wedding.
Write a fact boundary into the review
Before using Film Studio, keep a three-column note: approved facts, permitted inventions and exclusions. For a stylized real story, the permitted column might allow a painted garden and simplified outfits while prohibiting invented dialogue or changes to who participated.
Read the script against that note. Check introductions, captions and promotional descriptions as carefully as the main story. “Inspired by our first date” is different from “this is our first date.” A realistic render cannot establish historical accuracy. Do not let a convincing image turn an editorial choice into a factual claim.
Make the distinction visible in the finished presentation
A brief caption can explain that the film is an AI-assisted fictional story or a stylized reenactment. Keep the wording proportional to the content and the audience. This guide provides production practice, not a determination of every platform's disclosure requirements or anybody's legal rights.
Can we put a real couple into a fantasy setting?
Yes as a creative direction, with their permission and review. Distinguish the real people from the invented events. A fantasy setting does not justify fabricating sensitive personal experiences or endorsements.
Does choosing fictional mode guarantee consistent faces?
No. Casting an original character solves the biography question, not the rendering problem. Approve clear references and inspect every shot for appearance drift before assembling the film.
