A slide hidden from normal presentation playback is not necessarily excluded from every export or print path. Check the PDF export range and any hidden-slide option in the actual PowerPoint version. Inspect the saved PDF itself before sharing it. The presentation's edit view and slideshow behavior do not prove the static document contains the intended pages.
List the pages that should travel
Create a short delivery list containing included slides, omitted slides and their identifying headings. A hidden backup slide may be useful to the speaker but unsuitable in a public proposal. Record the desired output explicitly rather than expecting the hidden icon to express every delivery requirement.
Save the editable deck and make a separate export copy. Do not delete backup slides from the only source simply to get a clean PDF. A different audience may later need those slides, while the present PDF should have a clearly defined scope.
Inspect the available export controls
Microsoft's PDF-export guidance describes range and hidden-slide options in supported workflows and notes platform differences. Its printing guide separately discusses printing hidden slides. These are PowerPoint choices, not Imagild output settings.
Use the controls actually available in the target version. Set the intended slide range and review any inclusion of hidden slides before export. Do not copy a Windows checkbox instruction into a Mac workflow without checking its documented support. If the needed export option is unavailable, prepare a clearly labeled delivery copy with the intended scope using a supported workflow.
A hypothetical backup-slide check
Suppose a six-slide public deck contains a seventh hidden slide with a draft concept. Give that test slide an unmistakable heading in a working copy. Export the planned PDF and count its pages, then search or read for that heading. The approved public copy should match the six-slide delivery list.
This is a proposed test, not an inspected public deck. Also check the first and last intended slides and any gap in the range. A count of six can still be wrong if a desired page was omitted and the hidden draft was included instead.
Approve the exact static copy
Accept when the PDF contains exactly the intended slides in order and no unintended draft content. Reject an unexpected backup slide, a missing required page or a filename that still points to an older export. Reopen the copy selected for transfer rather than only the last file viewed in PowerPoint.
Keep the editable source and export checklist with the final PDF. Recheck whenever the source gains a new hidden slide or the export method changes. Imagild's Skills can create the accompanying artwork; presentation status and document scope belong to external presentation work. A slideshow that skips a slide and a PDF that omits it are separately testable results.
