A generated holographic ticket is usually a raster illustration of a shiny object, not instructions for producing holographic foil. Separate the flat design from the material preview. Ask the printer about actual finishing and templates before assuming the rainbow reflections in a mockup will appear on a physical ticket.
Decide which file you are making
A perspective mockup helps communicate the concept: an angled ticket, cast shadow and changing reflections. Flat artwork serves a different purpose: it needs a defined trim shape, correct orientation and readable content. An image of a ticket lying on a desk includes the desk; it is not automatically a file ready for a print service.
For a personal fan project, start with an authorized portrait or an original fictional person. Keep event names, dates and claims accurate. Do not make an unofficial collectible look like a valid admission pass. Decorative numbers should not be presented as scannable credentials or proof of access.
Create the flat composition first
Create a front-facing collectible fan-ticket illustration featuring the authorized reference person in a new relaxed pose. Use a deep blue background with a warm orange accent and clear separation between portrait and text area. Keep the whole rectangular design visible. Do not add a desk, perspective tilt, outer shadow, barcode or small invented lettering.
This is an example brief for artwork, not a printer specification. Add critical wording as editable text in a layout application after checking the portrait. A model can still generate unwanted marks, so inspect the file rather than assuming the instruction has been obeyed.

The printer may need separate masks or a specific file format for a special finish. Imagild does not automatically produce those production separations. Request the vendor's current requirements instead of guessing a universal holographic workflow.
Check the design at physical size
Print an inexpensive size proof or view it at intended dimensions. Confirm that the face is recognizable, the title is readable and nothing critical sits on a perforation or trim boundary. Canva's margin and bleed guidance distinguishes safe content from background that extends beyond the cut. Your supplier's template remains the authority for this specific object.
Common questions
Does a rainbow texture create real foil?
No. It can simulate reflections in the artwork, but physical reflectivity depends on stock and finishing. A flat print of a rainbow texture behaves differently under light.
Should I generate the promotional mockup first?
Only if you label it as a concept and accept that it may need redesign. For a usable collectible, approve flat content first, then make the mockup. Open Fan Merch, select the ticket format and specify whether you want flat artwork or a presentation image.
